The Back To Basics Piano Method is half way in between Traditional Piano Teaching (sight reading) and Suzuki Piano Education (Rote learning / ear training). Back To Basics encompasses rote teaching, ear training, sight reading, memorization, improvisation, composition, all piano technique, keyboard theory and performance skills.

There are 10 curriculum piano books and 9 companion books that go along with the curriculum books. The easiest and the best way to understand this piano program is to watch the FREE videos for the Teacher Training Pedagogy Program. This program works because it is well balanced. We also offer a certified piano teacher option for teachers who have watched all of the 37 videos. This entire program is free.

The Back-to-Basics concept is all in all well-rounded including sight reading, ear training, memorization and performance.
